Marlins Make A Change At The Top
The Florida Marlins have fired manager Fredi Gonzalez and named Edwin Rodriguez to replace him on an interim basis. The team said in a statement that it also dismissed bench coach Carlos Tosca and hitting coach Jim Presley. The 4th place Marlins moved to 34-36 following Tuesday night's win over the Orioles. Marlins owner Jeffrey Loria says he's making the change because he believes the team can "do better and be better."
