Sources: Chris Paul Has Wish List; to Talk With Hornets
Chris Paul and the New Orleans Hornets are scheduled to have a sit-down meeting Monday, according to ESPN's Marc Stein and Chris Broussard. If the team doesn't convince "CP3" it will build a contender quickly, sources say Paul will ask for a trade. The New York Knicks are said to be on top of Paul's wish list.
Cardinals Show Interest in Oswalt
The Cardinals are hoping to play "Let's Make a Deal" with Astros ace Roy Oswalt. According to the St. Louis Post Dispatch, Oswalt said he's willing to restructure his contract to facilitate a deal to the team. The MLB trade deadline is July 31.
Report: Trips to Miami Under Scrutiny

Dez Bryant became the first of the NFL's first-round pick to agree to a contract Thursday, coming to terms with the Dallas Cowboys. Bryant, the 24th pick of the draft, will report on time for Cowboys training camp on Saturday in San Antonio.
Sources: Browns, McCoy Agree to Deal
Colt McCoy will join fellow Cleveland Browns rookies when reporting to training camp Friday. McCoy, the team's third-round pick, agreed to a four-year deal Thursday worth up to $5 million, according to a league source.

The minor leagues made history Thursday. Major League Baseball implemented random blood testing for HGH in the minors, the first professional sports league in the United States to take the aggressive step against doping.
Childress Still Unsure of Favre Decision
The Minnesota Vikings report to training camp July 30, with or without QB Brett Favre. Vikings coach Brad Childress visited the 40-year-old QB this week and still doesn't know if Favre will return to the team or retire. "It would not surprise me either way," Childress said in an interview on KFAN-1130 AM. If Favre returns it would be for his 20th NFL season.
MLB Clears Mark Cuban to Bid on Rangers
Mark Cuban is back in the running to become a MLB team owner. The Dallas Mavericks owner has been cleared by Major League Baseball to bid on the Texas Rangers, according to Major League Baseball. The Rangers are currently in bankruptcy court while creditors dispute whether the highest value of the team is being obtained.
Henry's Red Bulls Fall to Tottenham
Thierry Henry made a strong first impression Thursday night. The former World Cup champion scored 24:55 into the first half of his debut with the New York Red Bulls. Despite the goal, Henry and the Red Bulls lost to Tottenham in the New York Barclays Challenge, 2-1.
Sources: Houston Next Knicks GM?
Former Knicks' shooting guard Allan Houston is the frontrunner to be the Knicks' next GM under team president Donnie Walsh, sources told ESPN's Ric Bucher. Walsh would neither confirm nor deny Houston's status. Houston is currently listed as the team's special assistant to the president, Walsh.
