3P ET: Ochocinco Fined For Tweeting During Game, Vikings Sign WR Walker, Rondo Withdraws From Team USA



OCHOCINCO FINED FOR TWEETING DURING GAME:
The Bengals Chad Ochocinco has been fined $25,000 for violating two NFL game policies - possession of an electronic device and posting messages on a social media site - during the Bengals-Philadelphia Eagles game on August 20. Two messages appeared on his Twitter page during the prohibited period for players to be using social media, which begins 90 minutes prior to kickoff until post-game media obligations are fulfilled.

VIKINGS SIGN JAVON WALKER:
Vikings have signed veteran WR Javon Walker. Walker, in his 9th year in the NFL, has played in 83 career games, including 46 starts, over the last eight seasons. Originally selected by the Green Bay Packers in the first round of the 2002 NFL Draft, Walker's most productive season WAS 2004, catching 89 passes and 12 touchdowns from current Vikings QB Brett



RONDO WITHDRAWS FROM TEAM USA:
Team USA finalized its roster for the World Championships after Celtics guard Rajon Rondo asked to withdraw his name from consideration. Rondo, who told USA chairman Jerry Colangelo that he had family matters to attend to. He started the team's 1st two exhibition games, but did not play in Sunday's game against Spain.
