Barber-led Giants Look To Trim The Cowboys

Tony Romo's record in December and January has made it very hard for him to enjoy the winter holidays.

Here’s a handy little guide on what to watch for during the 4 p.m. ET games:

Cowboys at Giants: The Giants have lost 5 of their last 6 games after starting the season 5-0. During that 6 game stretch, the Giants have given up 190 points, the most during a Giants six-game span since 1967 (when they surrendered 192). Today, former running back Tiki Barber will be the honorary captain for the G-men, which could be a major conflict of interest when he's calling the game for NBC. According to bigblueinteractive, fans are torn on whether to cheer or boo Tiki after the way he exited the team prior to their Super Bowl Season.

Chargers at Browns: The Chargers have ended the previous 3 years on win streaks of 10-0, 6-0 and 4-0 clinching playoff berths in three consecutive seasons. After starting 2-3 they’ve won 6 straight games giving them a one-game lead over the Broncos in the AFC West. For Cleveland, a win today might be the silver lining on another disastrous season, but the Browns will need fan support to make it happen. What's the recipe for a rowdy Dog Pound? Get this guy his a helmet and have him rally the troops like Fireman Ed does for the Jets.
49ers at Seahawks: The 49ers look to snap a four-game road-losing streak and pull within one game of the division leading Cards when they head to Seattle this weekend. The 49ers used so much Gore in their week 2 win versus the Seahawks that Seattle must have felt like it was in a horror movie (zing!). And after Frank rushed for 207 yards and 2 TD’s in the 49ers 23-10 win, there was no doubt that it was a "slasher" film (zing! zing!). On the other hand, a Seawhawks win would put them in a tie for 2nd place with the 49ers. Although that would only improve their record to 5-7, making them a very unimpressive "second". It'd be more like, "someone has to be next". If you're bored, you can always play "Try and Pick Which Calls Jim Mora Will File Complaints About". Just remember to pace yourself; first person to 18 wins! 17 complaints from Jim Mora to the league office.
