Cincinnati Reds at St. Louis Cardinals

Friday through Sunday

The Reds hold an eight game lead over the Cards in the NL Central as they begin their three-game series tonight in St. Louis. The Cards have lost five straight and eight of their last nine games while the Reds are winners of six of their last seven. But for Joey Votto and Albert Pujols, more than just the NL Central Division title is on the line; they'll be competing for the NL Triple Crown as well as the NL MVP Award. Pujols has gone three straight games without a hit but still ranks fifth in average (.315), first in home runs (35) and second in RBI (95). On the other hand, Votto is second in average (.325), tied for third in home runs (32) and he leads the NL in RBI (97). If you're a Votto fan we recommend purchasing his Billings Mustangs bobblehead. If you're rooting for Big Al and wanna splurge a bit, you can own a game-used Pujols helmet for $10,000. You can't go wrong either way.
