According to WEEI Boston, The Dennis & Callahan Show is reporting that Tom Brady was involved in a car accident in downtown Boston Thursday morning. According to the report, Brady was "shaken."A source told ESPNBoston.com this morning that Brady is now en route to Gillette Stadium. While the source would not confirm that Brady was in an accident, the source did say that the quarterback did not go to the hospital.
According to the Boston Globe, a sedan and a passenger van collided at 6:34 a.m. at Commonwealth Avenue and Gloucester Street, said Boston Fire Department spokesman Steve MacDonald. The driver of the sedan was able to get out and was walking around after the crash. A man was stuck in the back of the passenger van and had to be removed with the Jaws of Life, then transported to an area hospital, MacDonald said. He said the traffic light was hit during the accident and Boston police were investigating. Sources said the man driving the sedan was Brady and he was treated at the scene and did not require hospitalization. Patriots spokesman Stacey James didn't immediately return a message seeking comment.
