Seneca Wallace Starts At QB
Browns backup quarterback Seneca Wallace is starting Cleveland's home opener against Kansas City in place of Jake Delhomme. Delhomme injured his right ankle in last week's loss at Tampa Bay and missed practice this week. He is inactive Sunday, making rookie Colt McCoy the No. 2 quarterback against the Chiefs.

Percy Harvin Active For Vikes vs. Dolphins Despite Hip
Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Percy Harvin is active against Miami after being listed as questionable with a hip injury. The reigning AP offensive rookie of the year tested out his injured hip early on Sunday and, as expected, was in the lineup. Rookie running back Toby Gerhart was also active for the first time this season after missing the opener with a knee injury.

Concussion Prompts Cardinals' LaRue To Retire
St. Louis Cardinals catcher Jason LaRue is still experiencing debilitating symptoms from a concussion sustained during the Cardinals' brawl with the Cincinnati Reds in August and is retiring from baseball. LaRue said after conferring with doctors, retirement was "a simple decision," according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch.
