Two days after having no receptions on Monday Night Football, Randy Moss has been traded by the New England Patriots to the Minnesota Vikings, the team that drafted him in the first round in 1998. Moss played four games this season with the Patriots. If he plays in the Vikings’ 13 remaining games, he’ll be the sixth player since 1978 (first year of 16-game schedule) to play in 17 regular-season games. Moss and the Vikings are on Monday Night Football in Week 5 at the New York Jets. If he plays, he will be the second player to play on Monday Night Football in back-to-back weeks (Keith Browner, 1987). Wendi Nix reports on the reaction to the Patriots trading Randy Moss. By the way, the Patriots play the Vikings in Minnesota on Halloween (Week 8)...get your costume ready!
