Mark Schlereth Sounds Off

Falcons corner-back Dontay Robinson was fined $50,000 dollars for his hit on Eagles receiver DeSean Jackson and both players received concussions. Patriots Brandon Merriweather also was hit with a $50,000 fine for his hit on Ravens TE Todd Heap. Pittsburgh linebacker James Harrison was slapped with a $75,000 fine for knocking out Cleveland's Joshua Cribbs and Mohamed Massaquoi. The NFL has considered all warned and suspensions for flagrant hits are now to follow. This has several players and ESPN's Mark Schlereth defending the game they love.
