Jets safety Jim Leonhard is likely done for the rest of the season. This according to a team source, who told ESPN Senior NFL Insider Chris Mortensen that Leonhard broke his leg during practice Friday. Leonhard was hurt when he collided with wide receiver Patrick Turner.

Vikes Hopeful Adrian Peterson Will Play

Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson was limited in practice today but could still play on Sunday against the Bills. Vikings coach Leslie Frazier remains optimistic about Peterson's status despite the precautionary measures the team will use with their Pro Bowl back. "We're still going to take him out on Sunday morning, just to see how he moves around, make sure he's confident in what he has to do to play in the game," Frazier said.

Wichard Suspended for 9 Months by Union

The NFL Players Association suspended longtime agent Gary Wichard for nine months for his role in a recruiting scandal involving the University of North Carolina. Wichard, an agent since 1980, was suspended for his involvement with Marvin Austin, a former Tar Heels player who was dismissed from the team in October.
