When Rams coach Jeff Fisher hinted that the roster composition might be a little different than normal, and even offered that his team might keep more offensive linemen than has been typical, I took that into account.
Turns out, I should have taken it even more seriously than I did. All told, I was correct on 49 of the final 53, and was only off in terms of the numbers at two positions (tight end and offensive line).
I managed direct hits at running back, wide receiver, defensive line, cornerback and specialists.
Of course, this could all change before the weekend is over. Last year, the Rams made four waiver claims and a trade after the cutdown to 53.
(Note: linebacker Jo-Lonn Dunbar and running back Isaiah Pead do not count against the roster as they serve four- and one game-suspensions, respectively. They've been placed on the reserve/suspended list.)
