Injury questions abound for Rams at RB
By Nick Wagoner
EARTH CITY, Mo. -- The St. Louis Rams' Friday injury report includes three running backs listed as questionable for Sunday's game against the Tennessee Titans, leaving the position somewhat in flux as the game approaches.
Starter Zac Stacy took a little bit of a step back in Friday's practice as he went from full participation Thursday to limited participation Friday. He didn't practice at all Wednesday. Stacy moved around well Thursday but didn't do as much Friday though it's possible the Rams are managing the injury to ensure he'll be ready to go against the Titans.
More tenuous, it appears is backup Daryl Richardson's status. Richardson didn't practice at all Friday or Wednesday and did only limited work Thursday as he continues to deal with a nagging foot/toe injury.
Interestingly, it's undrafted rookie back Benny Cunningham who practiced in full all week but is still listed as questionable despite that participation. He's returning from an ankle injury that has kept him out the past couple of games.
Also listed as questionable is defensive end Robert Quinn, who missed the past two days because of an illness. Quinn attended the practice Friday but did not participate.
Here's the full breakdown:
Out: G Harvey Dahl (knee)
Questionable: Stacy, Richardson, Cunningham, Robert Quinn and Brady Quinn (hip)
Probable: OT Jake Long (knee), C Scott Wells (thigh), WR Austin Pettis (thigh), QB Kellen Clemens (shoulder), S Darian Stewart (foot), CB Brandon McGee (illness)
Of note for the Titans, linebacker Moise Fokou (knee) is out and safety Michael Griffin (quadriceps) and tackle David Stewart (shoulder) are questionable.
