Bama is No. 1, while FSU edged Oregon for No. 2 in the first BCS standings. Do you agree with the list? Rank 'Em!
Oregon still sits at No. 2 behind Alabama in both polls and picked up an additional first place vote in the coaches poll. However it dropped two first-place votes in the AP poll, down from five last week to three this week. Florida State, on the strength of its blowout win over Clemson, is up to third with two first-place votes.
Stanford jumped from No. 13 back into to the top 10 after handing UCLA its first loss of the season. The Cardinal check in at No. 8 in both polls. UCLA only slipped one spot in the coaches poll, dropping from 10th to 11th. In the AP poll, the Bruins dropped from ninth to 12th.
The big loser was Washington, which had only fallen five spots following back-to-back losses to Stanford and Oregon. But the Huskies dropped completely out of the top 25 after losing to Arizona State 53-24, their third straight loss.
The Sun Devils sit on the verge of re-entering the top 25 for the third time as the unofficial No. 26 team in the AP poll. Oregon State is unofficially No. 28 and Utah and Washington are receiving a few votes. Oregon State and ASU are also receiving votes in the coaches poll.
The first BCS poll of the season will be released tonight.
