St. Louis Cardinals slugger Albert Pujols ripped his 30th home run of the season on Sunday, the 10th straight year he's hit at least 30. Pujols extended his already obscene major league record for most consecutive seasons with 30+ home runs to start a career.

He's one of only seven players in major league history to hit 30+ home runs in his first season, and he and Ryan Braun are the only two of those seven to immediately follow that with another 30-homer season. Braun, in his fourth year, has hit at least 30 in each of his first three seasons and has 16 so far in 2010.
