Five things you need to know for Week 3

As heard Friday morning on Mike & Mike, here are five things you need to know for Week 3 of the NFL season:

1. Philadelphia Eagles QB Michael Vick has rushed for 140 yards in two games this season. Then-Eagles’ QB Donovan McNabb rushed for 140 yards in 14 games in 2009.

2. The 0-2 Dallas Cowboys have totaled 42 rushing plays and 100 passing plays, and have scored just two offensive TD this season.

3. The Detroit Lions (losers of eight straight games dating back to last season), have lost five straight to the Minnesota Vikings, 12 straight at the Metrodome, 16 straight to divisional opponents and 21 straight on the road.

4. Eight teams (the Miami Dolphins, Pittsburgh Steelers, Houston Texans, Kansas City Chiefs, Chicago Bears, Green Bay Packers, New Orleans Saints and Tampa Bay Buccaneers) are all 2-0. At least one 2-0 team has reached the Super Bowl dating back to the 1988 season.

5. Eight teams (the Buffalo Bills, Cleveland Browns, Cowboys, Lions, Vikings, Carolina Panthers, St. Louis Rams and San Francisco 49ers) are all 0-2. Only five teams in NFL history have bounced back from an 0-3 start to make the playoffs
