It may not have always been pretty, but the Indiana Pacers stayed the course and improved to 5-0 this postseason following a loss. Indiana is headed to their second straight Eastern Conference Finals. David West and another strong defensive performance carried the Pacers in Game 6.
Pacers go West to advance in East
David West scored 29 points, his most in a playoff game since joining the Pacers, as Indiana's "other" big man carried the team in the second half.

West tallied 18 of the Pacers' 41 second-half points to overcome a late Wizards rally.
West excelled in the mid-range game Thursday as his 20 mid-range points were as many as the Washington Wizards had as a team.
Stephenson drives past Wizards
Lance Stephenson was in attack mode from the start. Stephenson finished with 17 points, including nine in the first quarter.
Stephenson scored 15 points on drives and cuts to the basket in Game 6 as his average shot distance was only 6 feet. In the first five games of the series, Stephenson totaled 12 points on drives and cuts as his average shot came 15 feet from the basket.
Pacers outplay Wizards in clutch time again
The Pacers kept their cool again in Game 6 in what became a growing trend over the course of the series.

In clutch time, which is defined as the last five minutes of a game when the score is within five points, Indiana dominated Washington.
The Pacers outscored the Wizards by 15 points in clutch time, including holding Washington to four points in the final five minutes Thursday.
The Wizards never made more than two field goals in the final five minutes of the four close games in the series.
Pacers prep for Heat rematch
Indiana now heads home to prepare for another Eastern Conference Finals showdown with the Miami Heat. The two teams have split their last 14 meetings, including the playoffs.
During the regular season, Roy Hibbert swung the season series. In the Pacers' two wins against the Heat, Hibbert averaged 22.5 points and 4.5 rebounds. In the losses, Hibbert was held to 5.5 points and 1.5 rebounds per game.
