Today's links are more afraid of you than you are of them ...

* Hey, projected standings have arrived! From both Baseball Prospectus (PECOTA) and Revenge of the RLYW (CAIRO). Drink those in, and I'll be back later today with a few thoughts on the various divisions.

* Do you have some time this weekend? Because Lookout Landing has put together an outstanding compilation of links to all the key sabermetric stuff. I'm bookmarking the thing.

* I see here that Randy Johnson is going to throw out the first pitch at the Mariners' home opener this spring. It was sort of a shame, the way he left the M's in 1998. Not only was Johnson quite publicly disgruntled, but his 4.33 ERA in 23 starts -- before getting traded to the Astros, for whom he was practically unhittable -- led to suggestions that he hadn't been giving his best efforts.

* Oh, isn't this delicious?

* Come to think of it, so is this.

* We've got an odd situation in Portland. The Triple-A Beavers play in ancient (but renovated) PGE Park, but they're essentially being evicted after the 2010 season to make room for a Major League Soccer expansion team, because the owner insists on changes to the stadium that won't allow room for baseball. What makes the whole thing all the odder is that the same man owns the Beavers and the new soccer franchise. I could go on, but apparently nobody in Portland really cares all that much about losing Triple-A baseball. So there's no reason you should.

* From wezen-ball, a healthy bit of record-correcting on the subject of Andre Dawson and that blank contract.

* Same vein, here's Sky Andrecheck on how baseball has changed (or not) since "Moneyball."
