A fun time was had by all on Wednesday’s Baseball Today podcast, as SweetSpot blogger Dave Schoenfield and I talked umpires (always a fun topic), no-hitters, All-Star voting and much more!
1. Why do people get so worked up about an umpire’s mistake? We discuss the Yankees-Indians mess.
2. Not too many pitchers are more unlikely than Bronson Arroyo to flirt with a no-hitter.
3. The Phillies are getting help back Wednesday. Did Chase Utley enjoy the Three Little Pigs sandwich at Coca Cola Park in Allentown, Pa.? Probably not.
4. We take a look at the NL side of the All-Star voting, and how to deal with three deserving catchers and the bullpen.
5. We’ve also got cool emails, clown stats and a look at Wednesday’s schedule!
So download and listen to Wednesday’s Baseball Today podcast and have a good time, because Dave and I certainly did.
