Leyland angry, but off base

Ah, there's nothing like a good rhubarb. Especially when a cranky, old manager is involved: Well, sure he might have been better off. He would have been better off. But watch the video (here) and you'll see that Schrieber's "touching" seems less confrontational than collegial. Less aggressive than paternalistic: "That's enough, son; let's move things along."

Is my characterization accurate? I wasn't there. Even if accurate, does that let Schrieber off the hook? No. But what Schrieber did simply isn't the same as a push or a bump, and Leyland's attempt to draw a precise parallel is simplistic and misguided.
