TAMPA, Fla. -- Fast on the heels of the signing of first-round draft pick Mike Evans, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers announced another transaction.

The Bucs announced Thursday afternoon that they have signed third-round draft pick Charles Sims. He’s expected to compete with Bobby Rainey and Mike James for playing time in the backfield rotation behind starter Doug Martin.

Second-round pick Austin Seferian-Jenkins is the only Tampa Bay rookie who hasn’t signed yet.
