Stock Watch: Tampa Bay Buccaneers
By Pat Yasinskas
Da'Quan Bowers. Back in the preseason, the Bucs strongly believed the defensive end was going to have a breakthrough year. That hasn’t happened. Bowers hasn’t been able to crack the starting lineup and he hasn’t done much in a reserve role.
Mike Glennon. The rookie quarterback hasn’t been nearly as efficient in the past two games as he was earlier in the year. But I don’t think it’s time to panic and say Glennon has taken a step back. I think he just has run into two good defenses (Carolina and Buffalo).
Lavonte David. Since the day he was drafted, David has drawn comparisons to Derrick Brooks. In his second season, David is starting to make those comparisons look realistic. He’s coming through with big plays on a consistent basis.
The offensive line. This unit had a bounce-back game against Buffalo after struggling against Carolina.
