What I think the Titans are thinking...

What I think they’re thinking in the headquarters of the Tennessee Titans this afternoon…

It’s sad for the organization that the only owner it’s ever known has passed away, and the smart guys here understand how big that is and know things are going to be different in the near future. That said, we’re in the middle of the work he loved watching us do, and we’ve got to do far better with it. Three straight losses have come to three tough defenses. But we cannot think a softer upcoming schedule is going to fix us. The CBA dictates we’re off for the bulk of the bye week, so Mike Munchak is letting us go after today. We need to rest, look in the mirror and think about what we can do better and stay out of trouble. When we return, we need to have the best preparation week of our season. A loss in St. Louis would be a killer, and we’ve got to find a plan we can win with.
