Reading the coverage of the Tennessee Titans ...

Mike Munchak said Leon Washington looked good in his physical and will fit right in, says John Glennon of The Tennessean.

Also in this link above: Michael Griffin reacts to his one-game suspension being upheld. “I asked them what I should have done differently and he told me there was no clear black-and-white answer. … You’re penalizing someone $205,000 for a hit that you still can’t give me a black-and-white answer on what I’m supposed to do differently?”

To which I say: I’m sympathetic to the guy, as that’s a no-win situation. But a lot of guys in the secondary have figured out a way not to do what he’s done, accumulating the hits that got the suspension.

A preview of Chris Johnson’s race against a cheetah, which airs on Friday night, via The Tennessean.

To which I say: I didn’t realize it was a down-and-back race as opposed to a straight line. Which doesn’t change the fact that a cheetah is far faster than a man.

“The Titans might have spent too much time trying to discover someone who could do the (return) job but at least they did not hesitate when a proven commodity (like Washington) became available,” says David Boclair of the Nashville Post.
