RTC: Johnson aiming for 1,000 yards

Reading the coverage of the Tennessee Titans ...

With each helping of praise the Titans heap on Justin Hunter, they add a disclaimer about the receiver’s room for improvement, says John Glennon of The Tennessean.

To which I say: There is no area going forward where the Titans should feel better about their future than with Hunter and Kendall Wright as their top two receivers.

Chris Jonhson is on pace to top 1,000 yards, says Jim Wyatt. “There was a lot of hype and big expectations this year, but a lot of things didn’t go well and didn’t go right,” Johnson said. “But it’s a situation where we have three games to play, and I’m pretty sure I’ll get there.”

Ryan Fitzpatrick has run from the quarterback spot much the way the Titans anticipated Jake Locker would, says David Boclair of the Nashville Post.

Competition has built camaraderie for Jason McCourty and Alterraun Verner, says Craig Peters of the team’s web site.
