NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Alterraun Verner is a fine defensive back with a real nose for the ball.
He's playing as the Tennessee Titans' lone Pro Bowler on Sunday and becomes an unrestricted free agent in March.
He's the kind of guy the Titans should want to keep, but I suspect they put a cap on his worth that another team will surpass and I don't think that will be unreasonable.
Thursday, Verner took the time to talk to us from Hawaii on The Midday 180.
Aside from a rundown of life in Hawaii, he said he thinks his play should override any size or speed deficiencies and that size and speed can be overrated.
