Home from the mothership and reading the coverage of the Tennessee Titans ...
Strong safety Bernard Pollard told 3HL in Nashville that “we need to find a way to get [Roger Goodell] out of here." Pollard’s anti-commissioner stance is a constant, but every time he says something like that it's of note. He also talks of his decision to re-sign and trying to finish what he started.
Chris Johnson believes his future with the Titans is "in God’s hands." He told Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean that although he's constantly being asked about his future and wants an answer sooner rather than later, he is most focused on getting his knee healthy.
The Titans’ needs per Gordon McGuinness of Pro Football Focus. They had a terrible grade on Moise Fokou and see a need for an upgrade and suggest Willie Young from Detroit as an edge-rusher option. I don’t think the Titans think they need to shop for a free-agent cornerback.
Cortland Finnegan is being cut by St. Louis and David Boclair of the Nashville Post considers the move.
To which I say: I’m told the Titans won’t be interested. Nor should they be. Look forward, not back.
