Martin: Six tackles, one for a loss (team stats)

“The Pittsburgh Steelers game my rookie year. It was a Thursday night game. I was really active, got a really good hit on Ben Roethlisberger, they took away my sack-fumble though. It was the year right before they changed that rule. I’m still pissed off about it. I had a lot of tackles. A guy went down -- Jurrell Casey hurt himself in the first quarter, his shoulder I think -- and I was able to make some plays. There was nobody else to play, I had to play the whole time. I just remember the energy of the team was higher than any game up to that point, it was to a whole other level playing at home in front of the whole country. Our defense was really energetic and it showed on the field. We need to come out like that every single game.”
