Reading the coverage of the Tennessee Titans…

“[C]hanges in workers’ compensation, both in Tennessee and around the country, have created new challenges for workers seeking help, including former pro athletes.” Walter F. Roche Jr. of The Tennessean has more details on workers' comp awards to multiple Titans.

Jets offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg thinks Chris Johnson is a first-ballot Hall of Famer. Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean thinks Mornhinweg is jumping the gun.

To which I say: I think this is a misplay by the Jets. From being around Johnson for some time, I think he hears this and thinks, “Marty gets me.” And it sets him up to look elsewhere if and when things don’t go well. Johnson needs to be motivated to run hard, not told he’s great.

The starting linebacker jobs are wide open for the Titans, says Teresa Walker of the Associated Press. Things will be in flux depending on how guys play, Ken Whisenhunt says.

To which I say: My pre-camp prediction: Kamerion Wimbley and Derrick Morgan outside, Wesley Woodyard and Zach Brown inside.
