Reading the coverage of the Tennessee Titans…

Only three Titans were on the roster when the team last made the playoffs in 2008, says David Climer of The Tennessean.

Bernard Pollard hit Zach Mettenberger with “Roll Tide” during practice on Sunday, says Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean. That’s what someone said to Mettenberger before sucker punching him recently at a Nashville bar. Pollard said if the Titans crossed paths with the puncher, “It’s on.”

Jake Locker threw well on the move in Day 2, says Wyatt.

Daimion Stafford made some plays as he begins his bid to lock down a backup safety slot, says Wyatt.

Locker has thrown some balls over the heads of his receivers, says David Boclair of the Nashville Post. Boclair also notes the Titans have fluffy new towels in the locker room, which is a bigger change than you might think.

In the Day 2 edition of Training Camp Live from the Titans' website, Mike Keith visited with vice president of player personnel Lake Dawson and director of college scouting Blake Beddingfield. (Video.)
