As I continue to try (and fail) to digest what happened to the Suns in New York tonight by engrossing myself in Hornets and Lakers . . . now I find myself longing for Chris Paul.
The latest on the Hornets’ injured dynamo?
Paul himself told our man J.A. Adande that he won’t entertain the thought of returning from a sprained left ankle until he’s “100 percent.”
The loose expectation in New Orleans, as I hear it, is that Paul could be back in a week. Maybe even sooner in the best-case scenario.
Adande has a detailed updated of Paul’s pregame workout in L.A. as the CP3 watch hits eight games and counting thanks to that ankle he twisted against Portland on Friday The Thirteenth.
