- Using Laker titles as a guide to the stock market.
- The Cavaliers are better when Shaquille O'Neal is on the bench.
- Brandon Jennings threatens to stop tweeting.
- Really good Will Bynum profile.
- Dick Jerardi of the Philadelphia Daily News with a much-needed update on Delonte West and his bipolar disorder. Mike Brown has a great quote: "He's a very good basketball player and a very good person. His work ethic ... is off the charts. I've got a son in the ninth grade who's a decent player. He's a lefty [like West]. I tell my son, 'Any time Delonte's on the floor, working out, watch him.' He's got to be one of the best workout players I've ever been around, ever seen. His imagination when he's working out, the skills that he works on are off the charts. I tell my son, 'Watch Delonte.'" (Via Cavs the Blog)
- Watch the Celtics use some delightfully sneaky plays. It's like basketball's equivalent of the fake punt. Who doesn't love a bit of trickery?
- Kevin Durant says he won't be in the dunk contest, basically because he's not that great a dunker. Who doesn't love a bit of humility?
- The TNT crew calls Deron Williams the best point guard in the NBA. Who doesn't love a pissed off Chris Paul?
- Since Kiki Vandeweghe took over the Nets have played better offense and worse defense.
- D.J. Foster of ClipperBlog wondering how people will react to Elton Brand's visit tomorrow. He was once so reviled. But now, he's not productive enough to loathe. "It’s tough not to have some sympathy for Elton when he gets booed, or misses shots he used to make with scary consistency, or gets parked on the bench. He’s not the player he used to be, and that’s depressing to see, regardless of the circumstances. Will you be sympathetic, unforgiving, or devoid of any real feeling altogether when you see Elton on Saturday?"
- If he could play, Mike D'Antoni would give Satan himself some serious PT.
- To Hornets fans, the Nuggets are not at all funny.
- Video of comedian Mike Birbiglia taking part in a shooting contest at a Sixers game. One PG-13 word.
