Turns out it was a four-team trade. Ian Furness was right (and you heard about it here first, unless you heard it about on Sportsradio 1080 or the Blazers Blog which were both more firster.) The big trade went down like this:
-The Sonics acquired Earl Watson, Bryon Russell, a 2008 second-round pick and cash from the Nuggets.
-The Nuggets acquired Reggie Evans from the Sonics, and Ruben Patterson and Charles Smith from the Trail Blazers.
0The Trail Blazers acquired Voshon Lenard from the Nuggets and Brian Skinner from the Kings.
-The Kings acquired Vitaly Potapenko from the Sonics and Sergei Monia from the Trail Blazers.
That's not all. "Philadelphia 76ers President Billy King announced on Feb. 23 that the team has traded forward Lee Nailon and a 2006 second round pick to the Cleveland Cavaliers in exchange for a conditional second round pick in the 2006 NBA Draft."
The Cavaliers acquired Ronald Murray from the Sonics for Mike Wilks and cash.
Mark Jackson went to the Hornets and Bostjan Nachbar joined the Nets.
And, not official is word that Derek Anderson is now headed to Miami for Gerald Fitch and possibly some deck chairs and a pinata.
