The $2 million performance bonus in Phil Jackson's contract that the Lakers can trigger by winning Thursday’s Game 7 at home is detailed here.
But Jackson isn’t the only potential bonus baby in these Finals.
Boston’s Ray Allen has already earned an extra $500,000 -- tacked on to his $18.8 million base salary -- just for getting to the Finals and is entitled to another $500,000 if the Celtics become the first road team to win Game 7 in the Finals since Washington in 1978.
Whatever Allen earns in bonuses, for the record, costs Boston double because the Celtics are a luxury-tax team.
