The two obviously have a pretty great relationship, which comes across in Chad Ford's latest podcast interview with the Piston bigwig. It really makes clear among other things, that:
- In the summer of 2000, Dumars told the private pilot to meet him at the airport because they were going to Philadelphia to get Allen Iverson. Then the trade deal fell-through, reportedly because of that Matt Geiger trade kicker.
- Dumars has smart thoughts about the role race plays in discussing Allen Iverson.
- If he had to choose between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton, Dumars would pick Obama by a whisker because he's "less polarizing."
