This is truly fantastic, and a resource I'll use all the time. Thanks to all of you who sent me the link, and thanks to HoopsHype for creating it.
It's a list of NBA agents, sorted by the incomes of their NBA clients. There's a seperate listing of the agencies. You can see that a handful of agencies have the industry pretty much locked up:
1. SFX $213,690,771
2. Wasserman Media $202,480,443
3. Priority Sports $128,655,764
4. Fegan & Associates $125,689,483
5. Williams & Connolly $113,693,272
6. BDA Sports $96,210,222
7. Excel Sports $87,076,564
8. Assist Sports $85,666,237
9. EnterSport $51,514,637
10. Goodwin Management $51,011,908
11. CSMG $42,092,200
12. Blue Equity $41,322,350
13. Interperformances $39,999,526
14. IAM Sports $32,509,990
15. Bell Management $29,000,623
Another thing to notice in the big list of agents: there are a lot of agents down there near the bottom, who--do the math (they typically get up to 4% of NBA contracts, and 15% or so of endorsement deals)--really can't be making all that much. And, with the exception of the occasional Tyrus Thomas, Kobe Bryant, or Baron Davis there's very little chance a true rainmaking blue-chipper will sign with one of the smaller agents.
What you're looking at is some fierce competition for the table scraps from the big guys. Hence a lot of the shady things that we hear about happening all the time.
You can also click on any agent's name and see who his (are there any female agents? none at all? isn't that weird?) clients are. For instance, check out front-runner Arn Tellem's list:
This HoopsHype tool is well worth poking around some more. There's so much to learn.
For instance, help me out here. I have heard that Arn Tellem represents practically everyone who has made the NBA from UCLA in recent years. Is that true? There's the list right up there. Are any big UCLA players from recent years missing? (Here's some back story/theorizing about how that reportedly happens.) Of course the exception I know about is Baron Davis and the occasional player who signs with former UCLA player Todd Ramasar.
In recent years, the Nuggets have been ridiculed for overpaying Nene, Earl Watson, and Reggie Evans. Watson has been going through some agent turmoil, but I believe those three all got their big Nugget money while being represented by Dan Fegan.

Jermaine O'NealThat's a lot of primo clients. Arn Tellem's team could win the Eastern Conference, if not the whole NBA championship (does he have any coaches?). Maybe we should send team Tellem to the Beijing in 2008. Way too many for one agent to handle personally, which is why Arn Tellem has lots of staff. I wonder, though, if you're Darrick Martin or Anthony Roberson, can you even get Arn Tellem on the phone?
