REPORT: Sebastian Telfair is About to Be a Free Agent

The Boston Globe has learned that the Celtics will sever ties with guard Sebastian Telfair after one season with the team, according to team managing partner Wyc Grousbeck, who sent an email to Globe reporters Peter May and Shira Springer with the news.
"I wanted to let you know that we have removed Sebastian's nameplate from his locker in Waltham. The facts and circumstances of his case have not been determined but he does not have a Celtics locker and we do not anticipate that he will," Grousbeck wrote in the email.
Telfair has not been amazing on the court in Boston, and he has had several recent off-court incidents.
