The Celtics, according to John Hollinger's giant machine, are about 60% likely to make the Finals. The Lakers are second, at about 25%.
You know the NBA is loving that -- a Lakers/Celtics Final? Short of the next Michael Jordan, that's about as good as it could get for marketing the NBA.
Detroit is third most likely to make the Finals, and Utah is fourth.
I find these playoff odds fascinating. In a decade or so, this thing will have a track record, and if it's a good one, Hollinger is going to have some serious bragging to do.
