Reason #1 to go to MIT business school: to take the class that's now being taught by Celtics' Senior VP for operations and information Daryl Morey. It's where Moneyball, business, and basketball come together. The guest speakers include the Celtic executive Danny Ainge; Scott O'Neil, NBA senior vice president for marketing and team business operations; and the godfather of Moneyball himself, legenday baseball statistician Bill James, who now advises the Boston Red Sox. There's more about Morey's MIT class for second-year MBA students in Sunday's The New York Times.
