The Lakers won Game 5 and the title. There was a trophy presentation on the floor, and then both teams retreated to their locker rooms -- the Lakers to spray champagne and get to know the trophy better, and the Magic to consider what went wrong. The coach, the team owner, Commissioner David Stern ... several people close to the team met with the players behind closed doors for a few minutes.

A few minutes after that, Magic veteran Adonal Foyle addressed the camera to tell of the emotional roller coaster of the NBA season. Every time we have met, he has been all smiles -- this time, of course, it was different. For Foyle there's the end of the road for a group that he says really worked well and hard together. There's also the reality that, though he'd like to play for another year or two, his own place in the NBA is uncertain. In his final TrueHoop Video Playoff Journal of the season, Foyle describes the moment.
