Shaquille O'Neal on "Kazaam"

Shaquille O'Neal's 1996 rapping genie basketball movie was -- shocker -- pretty bad. The most recommended comment on IMDB includes the phrase "never see this movie".

Why did one of the best players in NBA history agree to do it?

In a (PG-13) interview with GQ's Mark Anthony Green, O'Neal explains:
I was a medium-level juvenile delinquent from Newark who always dreamed about doing a movie. Someone said, "Hey, here's $7 million, come in and do this genie movie."

What am I going to say, no?

Simple as that.
