There aren't too many NFL players whose parent's co-host a radio show.
Well, Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III's mom, Jackie does.
While she didn't take questions about Griffin's newest offensive weapon, DeSean Jackson, on Tuesday, she spoke to the Washington Post about various topics.
Here's the link to the Tuesday interview.
The highlights include:
“I have not had the pleasure (of meeting new coach Jay Gruden), but I've heard great things about him. My husband met his brother and he held our son in high regard, even before his brother came here.”
On Redskins owner Daniel Snyder: “In our opinion, the Snyder family is awesome. Not because they have done anything extra for us that they haven't done for anyone else or other players, but just knowing what they stand for, how their family sticks together, how they raise their kids.”
Jackie Griffin's weekly radio show isn't about sports. The show, according to the Washington Post, called R3 is about giving entrepreneurs advice on starting businesses and doing outreach work in the Washington DC community.
R3 means “Real People, Real Experience, Real Results.”
