Celtics guard Marcus Smart spotted with crutches and brace entering TD Garden. Brad Stevens on the injured guard: We just dont want him to put any pressure on it at all. Its a unique injury. I think its usually an injury thats associated with other areas of your knee getting hurt, so we feel fortunate it is what it is and that its not a long-term thing.

Brad Stevens on what he wants from his disconnected Celtics: I just think we need to defend with greater urgency. We need to play offense with more purpose and more ball movement. And we need to play to the standard which weve set for closer to 48 minutes than we have. We just havent done that yet this year. And weve been living on good days, on good quarters."
