Pats injuries have piled up this season

Injuries have ravaged the Patriots in 2015, and Sunday night's loss to the Broncos was no different as TE Rob Gronkowski and LB Donta Hightower both left with knee ailments. In fact, ESPN's Mike Reiss counts 16 significant injuries to the Pats 53-man roster this season. Next man up?

Chandler Jones is onto Philadelphia

Nevermind the game that had ended 5 minutes before, the Patriots DE didn't want to answer any questions about Denver. Jones said, "I'm only answering questions about Philadelphia," before praising the Eagles: "Mark Sanchez is a great quarterback. Chip Kelly runs some good schemes and we have to prepare for them." OK then.

Schefter: Injury doesn't appear serious

Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski was carted off the field with a right knee injury with 2:49 left in the 30-24 loss to the Patriots. More testing is likely, but the knee injury "doesn't appear to be serious," a source texted ESPN's Adam Schefter. Story

BRONCOS 30, PATRIOTS 24 (final, OT): The Patriots not only lost the game, but also potentially lost one of their best players in TE Rob Gronkowski, who was carted off with 2:49 remaining with a knee injury. If Gronkowski is lost for the season, this might ultimately be viewed as the night that the complexion of the Patriots Super Bowl hopes, and the AFC on the whole, was dramatically altered. In all, a devastating night for New England.

Brady engineers game-tying drive

With 1:09 left in the game, Patriots QB Tom Brady led his team down the field 51 yards. That put New England in range for a 47-yard Stephen Gostkowski field goal to tie the game at 24. New England starts with the ball. Follow live
