David Ortiz received a humidor filled with cigars as a parting gift from the White Sox before his final regular-season game on Chicago's south side. Apparently, the humidor was hand-crafted by former White Sox slugger Ron Kittle. It was presented to Ortiz by ace Chris Sale.

Jackie Bradley Jr., a game-time decision with a sore finger, apparently good to go. Red Sox at White Sox: Betts RF, Pedroia 2B, Bogaerts SS, Ortiz DH, Ramirez 1B, Shaw 3B, Holt LF, Hanigan C, Bradley CF, Owens. (For what it's worth, Betts would've played center in Bradley's absence.)
