Reports: Danny Amendola out vs. Broncos

New England won't have Amendola against Denver's vaunted defense Sunday, according to multiple media reports. Amendola injured his knee in the Patriots' win over the Bills on Monday. With Julian Edelman and Aaron Dobson out and other WRs ailing, the Pats are down to two healthy WRs (Brandon LaFell and undrafted free agent Chris Harper).


Orange respond with touchdown

Syracuse ties it up at 7-7 with a seven-play, 65-yard touchdown drive. The Orange punched it in with this 2-yard pass from QB Zack Mahoney to Ervin Philips.


Eagles on the board first

We finally have action at the Carrier Dome. Boston College RB Tyler Rouse runs in for a 1-yard touchdown late in the first quarter.

UMass defense seals the deal

Buffalo QB Joe Licata's pass was tipped into the hands of defender Da'Sean Downey. The sophomore linebacker's interception helped the Minutemen hold on to a 31-26 victory. UMass RB Marquis Young had 35 carries for 240 yards and three TDs.


UMass extends it lead late in game

Minutemen kicker Logan Laurent hit a 37-yard field goal to put his team up 31-26 over Buffalo with just over two minutes left in the game.


Buffalo draws closer to start 4th quarter

Bulls RB Jordan Johnson ran up the middle through the Minutemen defense for a 5-yard TD, but Buffalo failed to convert on the two-point conversion. UMass still leads 28-26 in the fourth quarter.
