Patriots re-sign center Ryan Wendell

The New England Patriots have re-signed center Ryan Wendell to a two-year contract, according to NFLPA records. The deal carries a maximum value of $8.15 million, the records indicate.

Wendell has been a two-year starter for the team at center, rising through the ranks after beginning his career as an undrafted free agent and once being a member of the team's practice squad.
