Julien 'thrilled' with Doug Jarvis hiring

The Boston Bruins hired former Montreal Canadiens assistant coach Doug Jarvis on Wednesday, filling out their coaching staff for 2010-11.

Jarvis joins the staff with a built-in chemistry with head coach Claude Julien, whom Jarvis served under for part of the 2005-06 season in Montreal. He remained as an assistant in Montreal until the end of the 2008-09 season.
