Dustin Pedroia back on disabled list

BOSTON -- After playing only two games since being activated, Boston Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia is back on the disabled list due to soreness in his fractured left foot.

Pedroia, who had missed 44 games after fouling a ball off the foot in late June, stood at his locker inside the clubhouse at Fenway Park on Friday afternoon and clearly was disappointed with his latest setback.
