Red Sox finalize deal with Bobby Jenks

BOSTON -- Even after the Boston Red Sox acquired slugging first baseman Adrian Gonzalez via trade, then signed free-agent outfielder Carl Crawford, general manager Theo Epstein said he was still focused on improving the club's bullpen.

This week the Red Sox were able to add veteran right-hander Dan Wheeler to their bullpen, and Tuesday afternoon the club officially announced the signing of right-hander Bobby Jenks to a two-year contract worth $12 million.
