Daniel Paille takes slap shot to face

BOSTON -- After being hit in the face by a slap shot during Monday night's 6-2 win over the New York Islanders at TD Garden, Boston Bruins forward Daniel Paille was sent to be examined by a specialist.

"The puck hit him in the face, in the nose area, so we'll probably know more tomorrow once he's seen by a specialist," said Bruins coach Claude Julien.
